If you find more video hosting websites that let you embed video into Tangler successfully,
please let us know.To embed a video, you first need to find the ‘embed code’ which is 2-6 lines of HTML programming that allows the video to be played outside the main website. Each web site has it’s own system of displaying the ‘embed code’ but it is often shown under the heading of ‘Share’ and starts with something like <embed…
You need to copy the whole code completely.
Then in Tangler message window, click the ‘Video’ icon, which looks a bit like film
. You’ll get a popup window with an empty box. Paste the embed code into the empty box and then click ‘insert’.
The video won’t look like normal in the message editing box. It will be yellow with a red border. This is normal. When you click ’send’ Tangler will read the code and embed the video. You might want to test inserting video into a private conversation to get the hang of it.
