Mike Cannon-Brookes Retires
/start parity parody
News just to hand, Mike Cannon-Brookes, previous head of password resetting and Christmas Party Organisation Committee Management at Atlassian has announced his retirement from the world of technology. Mike was spotted at the Dinner 2.0 event in Sydney last night held at Cafe Pacifico, a renowned hang out for people eating Mexican food. When questioned, the barstaff said that he had been there for several weeks, doing nothing but eating corn chips and drinking beer.
“He came in to ask for directions, and saw the hammock by the bar. As he climbed into it we could hear him mumbling “Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes. My two favourite things side by side. All right, oh yeah.”
Atlassian representatives commented that business and productivity has certainly picked up in the last couple of weeks and said that they vaguely recall someone called Mike Shannon-Cookes working there in the past but no one knew what happened to him.
When Mike was roused from his slumber by the Tangler reporter at 3am in the morning he merely lifted his hat, grabbed another beer from the bar and muttered:
“Huh, what, oh. Wake me up for 3.0…”
